To build the largest, active education at sea Tall Ship in the U.S. operated by a nonprofit, Oliver Hazard Perry Rhode Island (OHPRI) seeks a limited number of OHP Shipbuilding Syndicate Members at four levels of participation between 2009 and 2011.
Full subscription in the OHP Shipbuilding Syndicate will secure $2.1 million in philanthropic and in-kind support needed (combined with a $1.5 million credit facility and a $500,000 OHP Plank Owner program) to complete construction and commission the most advanced education at sea ship in the U.S. for the benefit of our next generation of young people, mariners and marine tradesmen and women.

OHP Shipbuilding Syndicate Membership Details
•OHP Shipbuilding Syndicate Member may make a pledge over a period of up to five years.
•OHP Shipbuilding Syndicate Member will receive $10,000 OHP Plank Owner exclusive benefits.
•OHP Shipbuilding Syndicate Member benefits are subject to the successful construction of the Oliver Hazard Perry, its USCG certificate of inspection (COI), and all other applicable government rules and regulations.
•Days at sea, dock side events, and winter education at sea courses are subject to availability and do not include event or provisioning expenses. Port visits do not include dockage fees.
•Annual OHP Shipbuilding Syndicate Member Cruise and Dinner prices are not included and prices are set annually.
